Connecting DCs

For my daily creates this week, I carved a pumpkin, told about one of my best Halloween costumes, and said I would rather go 100 years into the future than 100 years into the past. (All can be found here: https://twitter.com/maci_winebarger/with_replies)

Here’s my attempt at connecting them…

Fast forward 100 years from today…how do you think the month of October will be? Will pumpkins still be carved? Will costumes still be worn on Halloween? Will Halloween be as popular with kids then as it is today? Will Genie costumes be a thing of the past? These are all questions that wont be answered in our lifetime. So all we can do is hope. Halloween was always one of my favorite holidays. Seeing all the creative costumes and pumpkin carvings was an entertainment in itself. I hope kids 100 years from now will appreciate Halloween and fall activities the way kids (and a lot of adults) do now. Pumpkin patches are so fun! I hope technology does not consume the modern day fun of fall and Halloween.

  1. I hope so too! Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays too! The way you tied in all of your Daily Creates is really cool and brought up a lot of good points. And your genie costume sounds so good!
